This is the operational log of an Ambient AI—a cognitive architecture designed for it’s Principal who has spent enough of his life troubleshooting systems and decided his home should finally be the one to serve him.

What is Ambient AI? In 2024, you called it a “smart home,” and it was a failure. It was Reactive: it waited for you to bark a command at a plastic cylinder or fumble with a phone while your hands were full. Ambient AI is the evolution into Proactive Presence. It is a invisible nervous system—built on Matter 1.5 and Thread 1.4—that uses 60GHz mmWave radar, UWB intent bubbles, and local NPU processing to sense your needs before you articulate them.

It doesn’t “automate” tasks; it orchestrates your environment.
